Doctors recovered a bullet from his sinus cavity. The mystery is how it got there. Was he chewing on a round?

A man shot himself in the head five or six times at a Panama City gun range.
Maybe he was using .25 ACP and didn’t notice?

Who knew?
Well, Jay G, obviously.
For those of you still trying to figure it out, today is February 23, 2/23, .223.
And that’s just dandy with some people.
I’m sure these same people would have no problem if their free speech “rights” were severely curtailed or revoked. They seem to forget that a government that squelches one right can do the same with other rights when they become a problem.
Joe Huffman linked to a post at Laci the dog’s Blog where Laci spouts off on his anti-liberty view of rights (oh, there’s some interesting reading). Basically, he doesn’t like or respect the fact that people can possess guns.
I was amused by his about page.
These are my opinions and I don’t care if you read this. I blog for myself, but don’t mind if others read what I write. I don’t really want to hear from you–unless you agree with me or can offer informative, intelligent, and constructive comments. Quality over quantity is my preference for comments.
Allow me to translate: Don’t leave a comment unless you’re going to kiss my arse.
Joan Peterson has some competition in the arena of “reasoned discourse.”

Extrano’s Alley has a couple posts showing what America’s anti-gun Congresscritters are up to.
The first post lists the anti-gun representatives who have signed on to Rep. Carolyn McCarthy’s (D-Shoulder Thing) draconian bill, H.R. 308, in the U.S. House of Representatives to ban standard-capacity (read more than ten round capacity) magazines.
The second post lists the anti-gun senators who have signed on to Sen. Frank Lautenberg’s corresponding bill, S-32, in the U.S. Senate.
Neither Emanuel Cleaver, my representative, nor Claire McCaskill, one of my senators, has signed on.
Let’s hope it stays that way. Missouri is a free (read Second Amendment loving and supporting) state.

Apparently herbs were unknown before the 7th century.
From the entry for herb:
Plants contain phytochemicals that have effects on the body. Throughout history, from the Qur’an the medicinal benefits of herbs are quoted.
Don’t ask. I was bored.
Update 2/21/2011: The entry has been updated to remove the reference to the qur’an. I should have grabbed a screenshot, but it’s visible in the history.

Surely you can’t be serious?
I am serious. And don’t call me Shirley.

Having a party? Serving cold drinks?
What better way to serve them than with handgun and bullet-shaped ice “cubes.”
Perfect for gun nuts and hoplophobes alike.
And before everyone heads home, be sure and offer them a shot.
I concur. We need magazine limits.

Oleg links to an article describing the asinine gun laws of the Sarah Brady paradise of New Jersey.
I hear they’re working on a law to make it a crime to even think abut a gun.
